I’ve been offered this:

For £1000. Chassis is rusty but solid, and bulkhead is OK, no transmission but the TD5 starts and runs fine, only 68,000 on the clock, need to replace seats and sound deadening (ha!).

Problem is I’d want another 300tdi, rather than the TD5, and realistically I don’t have the money, and its another Land Rover, and another ‘project’. But goddamnit I’ve always wanted a 110 pickup.

Wash, kurust, and store. Then find a good condition r380 for about £20. I like this plan.

I struggle to concentrate long enough to finish one minor project (painting the Twingo bumper has taken 3 months so far) so having several project cars would overwhelm me haha.

That Oldsmobile does look interesting. Will certainly stand out around toon, we need to have a UK oppo meet someday, there’s some cool stuff among the members here.

The series, defender and VRS combination isn't half bad either haha. I'm waiting on an interview for a pretty decent job right now, so if I manage to get it I'll be buying something cool to go with the Twingo. Something cool looking and unreliable.

My terrible goatee probably gives off too much of a rapey vibe already without adding the van into the mix. I was thinking more old italian or british sports car haha. A spitfire or alfa spider for example.

That was about my reasoning. Sand & treat or soak that frame in oil and park it for awhile while you plan the build.

Ah shame there’s that much distance. The mix of cars would be pretty interesting. Little French hatches, bigger German hot hatch, landies, Oldsmobile, the various things biturbo has at any one time haha.
